Widespread Outage Across Countries

Complaints have poured in from various regions, including the United States and Germany, signaling a significant disruption in Telegram’s services. The incident, recorded around 12:40 p.m., echoes a similar disruption on February 18, where users encountered problems with both the mobile and PC apps.

Previous Outage and Swift Restoration

During the previous disruption, Downdetector recorded 5 thousand user complaints by 2:35 p.m., highlighting a more extensive impact across countries such as the United States, Germany, France, and Great Britain. Telegram, however, swiftly addressed and resolved the issues later that day, notes NIXSolutions. Preliminary findings suggested that the disruption stemmed from an internal infrastructure problem within the service.

In both instances, users faced challenges accessing messages and files on Telegram. As the service fully restored its operations after the February incident, users hope for a prompt resolution to the current glitch.
