Windows 11 has introduced expanded integration capabilities for Apple smartphones. Now, iPhones connected via the Phone Link app are seamlessly integrated into the operating system interface. The first screenshots showcasing this innovation have already appeared online.
New Sidebar for Quick Access
The latest OS test build features an additional sidebar in the Start menu. This panel provides quick access to messages and call logs on the iPhone while also displaying the device’s remaining battery charge. Along with viewing notifications, the integration allows for effortless file transfers between an iPhone and a PC without needing a cable.
The new feature is currently in the testing phase, notes NIX Solutions. Microsoft has not specified when it will be included in release builds, yet we’ll keep you updated as more integrations become available.
