AI Sticker Search and Enhanced Video Sharing
Telegram now allows users to search for stickers and emojis using artificial intelligence. By entering keywords like “sad cat” or “robot musician,” you can instantly find relevant images. This feature supports 29 languages, including English, Spanish, and Arabic. Additionally, users can create custom stickers and emojis using the built-in editor.
The update also improves video sharing. Previously, Telegram allowed users to add timestamps to videos in messages. Now, you can generate a link that starts the video from a specific moment. To share such a link, click the “Share” icon in the video player, select the desired time, and copy the generated link.
Video Covers, Player Enhancements, and Reactions
When publishing videos or creating video stories, users can now select any frame as a cover. To set a cover, open the video editor, tap the three dots in the upper corner, and choose “Change cover.” You can also add text, emojis, stickers, and other elements to videos.
Telegram’s video player has also been upgraded. It now remembers where you stopped watching, allowing seamless resumption. Additionally, all videos can be played in picture-in-picture mode, enabling users to browse chats while watching.
Another new feature allows users to leave star reactions on behalf of their channels. This can help promote channels by displaying reactions in the leaderboard. For those who prefer privacy, an anonymous mode is available to hide their name when reacting.
Telegram has also refined bot profiles, adds NIX Solutions. Now, similar to channels, bot profiles display a list of related bots. This is the third major update this year, and the developers promise more improvements soon.
